The problems we see most
Weak airflow in a mobile home is often duct-related rather than equipment-related: a crossover duct that came loose under the home will quietly dump conditioned air into the crawlspace, and no amount of work on the furnace will fix it. We check the duct path before we recommend replacing equipment. The other recurring one is a system that was replaced with the wrong class of equipment by a previous contractor, which we'll flag if we find it.

Can I put a regular residential AC on my mobile home?
The furnace has to be listed for manufactured-home use — that part isn't optional. The cooling side has more flexibility, but it still has to match the furnace's airflow and physically fit the closet and duct connections. We'll spec what actually works for your home.
Some rooms are much warmer than others. What causes that?
In manufactured homes that usually traces to the duct run under the floor — a disconnected crossover, a crushed section, or torn belly wrap. It's worth inspecting before spending anything on the equipment itself.
